Move the mouse over days and bookings.

In the calendar you choose the Vehicle type and only booked cars remain. The calendar is redrawn from the application.

Every car on one card.

HR keeps the records, employees see which car is free. Dates aren't hunted down in e-mails. Try clicking Book at the Superb.

Vehicle cards with a traffic light for MOT (STK) and insurance and an overview of bookings for two weeks.

Booking in four steps.

The employee doesn't have to call anyone and the manager doesn't have to record anything by hand.

  1. Request

In My requests the employee chooses a Vehicle, dates from to and a purpose.

  2. Approval

The vehicle manager gets an e-mail and the request in To approve. A rejection always comes with a note.

  3. No collisions

Pending and approved bookings both block the car. A second request for the same time is rejected.

  4. In the calendar

The booking shows in the company calendar and in the two-week overview.

The manager approves with one click.

In the request they see the vehicle, dates, purpose and checks: whether the car is free at that time and whether it has a valid MOT (STK) and insurance.

  • The manager is an employee designated by HR, for example the sales manager for the sales car

What In-Time-App. doesn't do with vehicles.

It is records and bookings, not a fleet with a map. It doesn't use GPS, doesn't track the location of cars and doesn't keep a logbook or fuel records. Vehicles are just one part of the company portal In-Time-App., which also handles attendance system, absences and shifts.

Questions about vehicle management.

How do you book a company car in In-Time-App.?

In My requests, the employee chooses a vehicle, dates from to and a purpose. The request goes to the vehicle manager, who approves or rejects it. An approved booking shows in the company calendar.

Who approves vehicle bookings?

The vehicle manager designated by HR. If a vehicle has no manager, HR approves the booking. A manager's booking of their own vehicle is approved automatically.

Can two bookings overlap?

No. Pending and approved bookings both block the vehicle, a second request for the same time is rejected.

Does In-Time-App. warn about MOT (STK) and insurance expiry?

Yes. The vehicle card shows the validity status, and 30 days before the MOT (STK) or insurance ends, the vehicle manager and HR get an e-mail.

Can I see only vehicles in the calendar?

Yes. In the calendar you can choose the Vehicle type and only booked cars are shown, without vacations and other absences.

Does the application track vehicle location?

No. In-Time-App. doesn't use GPS and doesn't track location. It records vehicles, dates and bookings.
