How does the shift planner work?
HR or a team lead schedules employees into morning, afternoon and night shifts in a weekly or monthly table. You change a shift in a dialog and below the table you see the coverage of each day.
Does the planner warn when a shift falls on a vacation?
Yes. If an employee has an approved absence that day, the planner shows it as a warning. It doesn't forbid the shift, the decision stays with the planner.
Can the plan be copied from the previous week?
Yes, with one button. Then you edit only what changes.
Is every change to the plan recorded?
Yes, every change goes to the audit log.
Is the shift planner a separate module?
It is part of the company portal and is switched on for departments that need it. It is linked with the absence calendar and attendance.
